Toothbrushes are products with high production rates. Everybody possesses one, they should be replaced frequently and under no circumstances should they be boring. For M+C Schiffer GmbH the design for "glister" was developed.

From the beginning, "glister" was designed for global direct sales. The design and especially the handle had to be pleasant and useable in all situations.
flexible neck
An important requirement for design and production of the toothbrush was the desire to guarantee a very gentle brushing effect. The flexible neck ensures that excessive pressure does not cause damage to the teeth while brushing. Two opposing wave shapes in the connection between the handle and neck make this gentle spring effect clearly visible.

handling
For toothbrushes, excellent handling is essential. This does not only concern the effectiveness when brushing teeth, but also the success of the product concerning repeat sales. "If the toothbrush fits well into my hand, I am happy to buy it again." To design a toothbrush, the flexibility to position the hand is particularly important. When being used, the position is constantly changed in order to reach all teeth.
